Day 1: Arrive in Christchurch
- Morning: Arrive in Christchurch, the largest city in the South Island.
- Explore the Botanic Gardens, Christchurch Cathedral, and take a punt on the Avon River.
- Lunch: Try a local café
- Afternoon: Visit the Canterbury Museum and explore the Re:START Mall.
- Evening: Stroll around the city’s creative and rebuild zones or take a tram tour
- Dinner: Head to a nice restaurant like Twenty Seven Steps.
Day 2: Christchurch to Lake Tekapo (3 hours)
- Morning: Start your drive early from Christchurch to Lake Tekapo.
- Stop by Fairlie for a famous Fairlie Bakehouse pie.
- Afternoon: Arrive at Lake Tekapo, visit the Church of the Good Shepherd, and take photos of the turquoise lake with stunning mountain backdrops.
- Relax in the Tekapo Hot Springs.
- Evening: Stargazing at the Mt. John Observatory, as Tekapo is part of the Dark Sky Reserve.
Day 3: Lake Tekapo to Mount Cook (1 hour 30 minutes)
- Morning: Head to Mount Cook National Park.
- Hike the Hooker Valley Track (3 hours round trip), which offers amazing views of Mount Cook and glaciers.
- Afternoon: Visit the Tasman Glacier Lake or try a scenic helicopter flight over the Southern Alps.

Day 4: Mount Cook to Queenstown (3 hours 30 minutes)
- Morning: Drive through the scenic Lindis Pass to reach Queenstown.

- Afternoon: Arrive in Queenstown, the adventure capital of New Zealand.
